Terms Used In Alabama Code 15-23-124
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
Nothing in this article shall be construed to establish a standard of care for medical providers or physicians, or otherwise modify, amend, repeal, or supersede any provision of Section 6-5-333, the Alabama Medical Liability Act of 1987, commencing with Section 6-5-540, or the Alabama Medical Liability Act of 1996, commencing with Section evidence admitted of medical liability insurance” class=”unlinked-ref” datatype=”S” sessionyear=”2022″ statecd=”AL” title=”6″>6-5-548, or any amendment to any of these laws or judicial interpretation of these laws.
