Terms Used In Alabama Code 28-4-122

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • person: includes a corporation as well as a natural person. See Alabama Code 1-1-1
  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories of the United States. See Alabama Code 1-1-1

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to whom any such liquor mentioned in Section state, foreign country, etc., or delivery within state of liquors intended to be used in violation of laws of state” class=”unlinked-ref” datatype=”S” sessionyear=”2020″ statecd=”AL” title=”28″>28-4-120 has been consigned from any of the points or places mentioned in Section 28-4-120, whether consigned to the party by the right name or by a fictitious name, to give to any other person an order for such liquor to any railroad company, express company or other common carrier or any officer, agent or employee of any of them or to any other person, where the purpose of such order is to enable such person to obtain or receive such liquors for himself or for any other person, firm or corporation than the consignee.
