- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories of the United States. See Alabama Code 1-1-1
This article shall be enforced by the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency, Marine Patrol Division , by all law enforcement officers of the state, and by other agents and employees of the agency as designated and required by the secretary.
