Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 04.21.035

  • Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
  • Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.

Notwithstanding any other provision of Alaska Stat. Chapter 32.06, a partner of a limited liability partnership or a foreign limited liability partnership holding a license under this title is not relieved of the obligation or the liability otherwise imposed upon a holder of a liquor license under this title solely because the license is held by a limited liability partnership or a foreign limited liability partnership.
