Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 13.36.130

  • Beneficiary: A person who is entitled to receive the benefits or proceeds of a will, trust, insurance policy, retirement plan, annuity, or other contract. Source: OCC

If a beneficiary for whom a trust bank account is created under Alaska Stat. § 13.36.125 does not present the beneficiary’s claim to the bank for payment within one year after the claim is due, the depositor who created the trust may revoke the trust as to the beneficiary.
