  • board: means the state Board of Education and Early Development. See Alaska Statutes 14.60.010
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

The executive officer of the Commission on Postsecondary Education appointed under Alaska Stat. § 14.42.040(a) shall serve as executive officer of the corporation. The board shall prescribe the duties of the executive officer.
