The board may select one or more underwriters for its bonds in accordance with procedures

(1) for the award of a contract under Alaska Stat. § 36.30.20036.30.260; or

  • board: means the state Board of Education and Early Development. See Alaska Statutes 14.60.010
  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
(2) adopted by regulations of the board that are based on the competitive principles of Alaska Stat. § 36.30.20036.30.260 and are adapted to the special needs of the corporation in the selling of its bonds as determined by the board.
