Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 16.20.096
- state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
Oil and mineral exploration and development is permitted on the Walrus Islands State Game Sanctuary in accordance with state or federal laws and regulations, subject to the limitations of Alaska Stat. § 16.20.098 and to additional limitations jointly determined by the commissioner of natural resources and the commissioner of fish and game to assure compatible multiple land use practices.
