(a) A person who fails to comply with Alaska Stat. § 18.35.100 is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction is punishable by a fine of not more than $500. Each operating restaurant or tavern in violation constitutes a separate offense.

(b) In addition to the penalty provided in (a) of this section, the court shall require the person to comply with Alaska Stat. § 18.35.100 within a reasonable period of time.
