(a) An employer may not permit an employee, customer, or other person to smoke inside an enclosed area at a place of employment.

  • person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
(b) The owner, operator, manager, or other person who manages a building or other place where smoking is prohibited under Alaska Stat. § 18.35.301 may not provide ashtrays or other smoking accessories for use in that building or place.
(c) An employer may not require an employee, customer, or other person to enter a stand-alone shelter as defined in Alaska Stat. § 18.35.301(h) for a purpose other than smoking.
