(a) The employer shall compensate any of the employer’s employees who appear at a board hearing under Alaska Stat. § 18.60.01018.60.105 for loss of wages if the employee appears at the hearing as the result of a request of the employer or as the result of a subpoena issued at the employer’s request.

  • state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
  • Subpoena: A command to a witness to appear and give testimony.
(b) The employer shall compensate any of the employer’s employees who appear at a judicial proceeding under Alaska Stat. § 18.60.01018.60.105 for loss of wages if the employee appears at the proceeding as the result of a request of the employer or as the result of a subpoena issued at the employer’s request.
(c) An employee who appears at a board hearing under Alaska Stat. § 18.60.01018.60.105 as the result of a request of the state or the OSHA Review Board or as the result of a subpoena issued at the request of the state or the OSHA Review Board shall be compensated at the rate of $30 a day and transportation costs.
