- municipality: means a political subdivision incorporated under the laws of the state that is a home rule or general law city, a home rule or general law borough, or a unified municipality. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
Notwithstanding Alaska Stat. § 19.25.080 – 19.25.180, a municipality may enact ordinances that regulate outdoor advertising in a way that is more restrictive than the provisions of Alaska Stat. § 19.25.080 – 19.25.180.
