person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
(1) a civil penalty equal to the compensation promised, paid, or to be paid, directly or indirectly, to the licensee in regard to a violation;(2) either a civil penalty of not more than $10,000 for a violation or, if the director determines that the person wilfully violated the provisions of this chapter, a civil penalty of not more than $25,000 for a violation; and(3) denial, nonrenewal, suspension, or revocation of a license.(b) In addition to any other penalty provided by law, an insurer that the director determines under Alaska Stat. § 21.06.170 – 21.06.240 has violated the provisions of this chapter is subject to
(1) a civil penalty equal to the premium earned, directly or indirectly, by the insurer in regard to a violation;(2) either a civil penalty of not more than $10,000 for a violation or, if the director determines that the insurer wilfully violated the provisions of this chapter, a civil penalty of not more than $25,000 for a violation; and(3) denial, suspension, or revocation of a certificate of authority.(c) In addition to any other penalty provided by law, any person that the director determines under Alaska Stat. § 21.06.170 – 21.06.240 has violated the provisions of this chapter is subject to
(1) either a civil penalty of not more than $10,000 for a violation or, if the director determines that the person wilfully violated the provisions of this chapter, a civil penalty of not more than $25,000 for a violation; and(2) denial of a license.
