Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 22.25.035
- judge: means a judge of the court of appeals, a superior court judge, or a district court judge. See Alaska Statutes 22.25.900
- justice: means a supreme court justice. See Alaska Statutes 22.25.900
- qualified domestic relations order: means a divorce or dissolution judgment under Alaska Stat. See Alaska Statutes 22.25.900
A former spouse who was married to a justice or judge for at least one year shall be treated as a spouse or surviving spouse under this chapter to the extent required by a qualified domestic relations order. Rights under the order do not take effect until the order is filed with the administrator.
