In this chapter,

(1) “authorized third party” means a person authorized by the physicians to negotiate on their behalf with a health benefit plan under this chapter;

Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 23.50.099

  • person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
(2) “health benefit plan” means a health care insurer as defined in Alaska Stat. § 21.54.500, but does not include a self-insured health benefit plan.
