(a) An affixation affidavit and a severance affidavit must be acknowledged in the same manner as a conveyance of real property and must be in a form that may be recorded under Alaska Stat. Chapter 40.17.

  • Affidavit: A written statement of facts confirmed by the oath of the party making it, before a notary or officer having authority to administer oaths.
  • Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
(b) The department shall establish by regulation the forms for an affixation affidavit and a severance affidavit.
