Alaska Statutes 41.35.220 – Enforcement authority

The following persons are peace officers of the state and shall enforce Alaska Stat. § 41.35.010 – 41.35.240:

(1) an employee of the department authorized by the commissioner;

peace officer: means
(A) an officer of the state troopers. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

(2) a peace officer in the state;

(3) any other person authorized by the commissioner.
