- state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
Board members receive no compensation as members of the board. Board members who are not state officers or employees are entitled to transportation expenses and per diem as provided in Alaska Stat. § 39.20.180 for members of state boards and commissions.
