(a) The rights and remedies in this chapter are in addition to other legal rights and remedies available to a buyer or the department.(b) To the extent of the conflict, the provisions of this chapter govern if a sale of or an offer to sell a business opportunity is regulated by this chapter and by Alaska Stat. Chapter 45.63 (solicitations by telephonic means), by Alaska Stat. Chapter 45.01 – Alaska Stat. Chapter 45.08, Alaska Stat. Chapter 45.12, Alaska Stat. Chapter 45.14, and Alaska Stat. Chapter 45.29 (Uniform Commercial Code), or by another law, and it is not possible to comply with or to apply both this chapter and the other law.
