It is unlawful

(1) for any potable water supply or wastewater system or facility subject to Alaska Stat. § 46.30.040 to be operated unless the operator is certified under the provisions of this chapter;

  • person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
(2) for any person to perform the duties of an operator without being certified under the provisions of this chapter.
