Alaska Statutes 47.12.210 – Fingerprinting of minors

(a) A peace officer may fingerprint a minor under the same circumstances as an adult may be fingerprinted.

minor: as used in this chapter includes a person described in this section. See Alaska Statutes 47.12.022
peace officer: has the meaning given in Alaska Stat. See Alaska Statutes 47.12.990

(b) Except as provided by Alaska Stat. § 47.12.310(b)(1), fingerprint records taken under this section are not subject to Alaska Stat. § 47.12.310.
