Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 47.45.140

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
  • Restitution: The court-ordered payment of money by the defendant to the victim for damages caused by the criminal action.

A person who wilfully or knowingly makes a false statement, or falsifies or permits to be falsified any record required by Alaska Stat. § 47.45.01047.45.160, is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, is punishable by a fine of not more than $500, or by imprisonment for not more than six months, or by both, forfeits all rights under Alaska Stat. § 47.45.01047.45.160, and shall make adequate restitution for any bonuses illegally received.
