Not less than 60 percent of the amount appropriated by the legislature for older Alaskans service programs under Alaska Stat. § 47.65.010 – 47.65.050 shall be allocated annually by the department as community program grants to sponsors of older Alaskans service programs. Payments shall be made on the basis of applications submitted to the department by sponsors of community programs.
