- Action: includes any matter or proceeding in a court, civil or criminal. See Arizona Laws 1-215
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
- Board: means the board of directors of a district. See Arizona Laws 48-6201
- Bond related expenses: means any expenses incurred by the district to issue and administer its bonds, including underwriting fees and costs, trustee fees, financial consultant fees, printing and advertising costs, paying agent fees, transfer agent fees, legal, accounting, feasibility consultant and other professional fees and expenses, credit enhancement fees, attorney and accounting fees and expenses related to credit enhancement, bond insurance or liquidity enhancement, remarketing fees, rating agency fees and costs, travel and telephone expenses and all other fees considered necessary by the district in order to market and administer the bonds. - Bonds: means the revenue bonds of the district issued pursuant to this article. See Arizona Laws 48-6271
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- District: means a theme park district established pursuant to this chapter. See Arizona Laws 48-6201
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- including: means not limited to and is not a term of exclusion. See Arizona Laws 1-215
- Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.
- Person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association or society, as well as a natural person. See Arizona Laws 1-215
- Process: means a citation, writ or summons issued in the course of judicial proceedings. See Arizona Laws 1-215
- Theme park purpose: includes the following purposes:
(a) The capital costs of acquiring, designing, developing, constructing, reconstructing, equipping and improving theme park facilities and directly related improvements and of on-site and off-site public infrastructure. See Arizona Laws 48-6271
- Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.
- Uniform Commercial Code: A set of statutes enacted by the various states to provide consistency among the states' commercial laws. It includes negotiable instruments, sales, stock transfers, trust and warehouse receipts, and bills of lading. Source: OCC
- United States: includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Arizona Laws 1-215
