The board may adopt regulations pursuant to Chapter 3.5 (commencing with Section 11340) of Part 1 of Division 3 governing any matter over which it has jurisdiction.

- board: means the California Victim Compensation Board. See California Government Code 13900
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
