Upon retirement for service a member is entitled to receive a retirement allowance which shall consist of:

(a) His service retirement annuity.

A series of payments under a contract from an insurance company, a trust company, or an individual. Annuity payments are made at regular intervals over a period of more than one full year.

(b) His current service pension.

(c) His prior service pension.
