This chapter does not create any liability or obligation upon the State of California and none shall be incurred by the authority beyond the extent to which moneys shall have been provided under this division. The authority shall not create any debt, liability, or obligation on the part of the State of California payable from any source whatsoever other than the moneys provided under this chapter.

Terms Used In California Public Resources Code 26056

  • Authority: means the California Alternative Energy and Advanced Transportation Financing Authority established pursuant to Section 26004, and any board, commission, department, or officer succeeding to the functions of the authority, or to which the powers conferred upon the authority by this division shall be given. See California Public Resources Code 26003
  • Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
