If a district is created and established in Riverside County, officers and employees of the County of Riverside may act, ex officio, as officers and employees of the district and may discharge the authority and responsibility specified in this article.

  • District: as used in this article , means any regional park district, regional park and open-space district, or regional open-space district formed pursuant to this article. See California Public Resources Code 5500
  • Ex officio: Literally, by virtue of one's office.
