Nothing in this division shall be construed as depriving any person of the right of appeal conferred under the laws of this State.

Terms Used In California Water Code 1008

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
  • Person: means any person, firm, association, organization, partnership, business trust, corporation, limited liability company, or company. See California Water Code 19
  • State: means the State of California, unless applied to the different parts of the United States. See California Water Code 18
