Each regional board may issue policy statements relating to any water quality matter within its jurisdiction.

Terms Used In California Water Code 13224
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- Regional board: means any California regional water quality control board for a region as specified in Section 13200. See California Water Code 13050
