(a) The land was assessed as required by law.

Terms Used In California Water Code 26302

  • Deed: The legal instrument used to transfer title in real property from one person to another.
  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
  • land: includes city and town lots and excepts improvements. See California Water Code 25500
  • Person: means any person, firm, association, organization, partnership, business trust, corporation, limited liability company, or company. See California Water Code 19

(b) The land was equalized as required by law.

(c) The assessments were levied in accordance with law.

(d) The assessments were not paid.

(e) At a proper time and place the property was sold as prescribed by law.

(f) The property was not redeemed.

(g) The person who executed the deed was the proper officer.
