  • Access: means a personal inspection and review of a record or an accurate copy of a record, or receipt of an accurate copy of a record, an oral description or communication of a record or an accurate copy of a record, and a request to release a copy of any record.   • Assessee: means the person to whom property or a tax is assessed. See California Revenue and Taxation Code 23

  • Irrevocable trust: A trust arrangement that cannot be revoked, rescinded, or repealed by the grantor.
  • Land: means land entitled to receive water from a district as a matter of right but located outside the district, and land in the district, or either of these. See California Water Code 23800

  • public agency: means any city or district, other than an irrigation district, authorized to distribute water, which is in whole or in part included within the exterior boundaries of an irrigation district. See California Water Code 26670
  • Public utility: as used in this article , means the supply of a municipal corporation alone or together with its inhabitants, or any portion thereof, with water, light, heat, power, sewage collection, treatment, or disposal for sanitary or drainage purposes, transportation of persons or property, means of communication, or means of promoting the public convenience. See California Public Utilities Code 10001
  • Pupil record: means any item of information directly related to an identifiable pupil, other than directory information, that is maintained by a school district or required to be maintained by an employee in the performance of his or her duties whether recorded by handwriting, print, tapes, film, microfilm, or other means. See California Education Code 49061
  • Revenue: means all or any part of any source or sources of payment excluding assessments. See California Water Code 23800
  • School district: means any school district maintaining any kindergarten or any of grades 1 to 12, inclusive, any public school providing instruction in any kindergarten or any of grades 1 to 12, inclusive, the office of the county superintendent of schools, or any special school operated by the department.
