(a) An authority shall have jurisdiction over all or such portions of the constituent municipalities as may be jointly agreed upon by such municipalities.

  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.

(b) Any superior court located within a judicial district that includes any area within the jurisdiction of an authority shall have jurisdiction over any dispute involving an authority except actions commenced pursuant to subsection (b) of § 22a-506.
