A corporator of a mutual savings bank may be removed at the annual meeting of the corporators, provided written notice is given to the corporators at least ten days before the meeting at which such removal is to be voted upon, if a majority of all the corporators of the mutual savings bank are present at the meeting and if not less than four-fifths of the corporators present vote in favor of removal.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 36a-99
- Bank: means a Connecticut bank or a federal bank. See Connecticut General Statutes 36a-2
- Mutual: when used in conjunction with any institution that is a bank or out-of-state bank means any such institution without capital stock. See Connecticut General Statutes 36a-2
- Savings bank: means an institution chartered or organized under the laws of this state as a savings bank. See Connecticut General Statutes 36a-2
