Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of sections 38a-645 to 38a-658, inclusive, shall be fined not more than three thousand five hundred dollars or imprisoned not more than two years, or both. The commissioner may revoke or suspend the license or certificate of authority of the person guilty of such violation. Such order for suspension or revocation shall be after notice and hearing, and shall be subject to judicial review as provided in § 38a-657.

  • Commissioner: means the Insurance Commissioner. See Connecticut General Statutes 38a-1
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Person: means an individual, a corporation, a partnership, a limited liability company, an association, a joint stock company, a business trust, an unincorporated organization or other legal entity. See Connecticut General Statutes 38a-1
