(1) The qualifications necessary for a facility to be an “”approved cancer center,”” pursuant to Florida Statutes § 458.3135, shall be that the facility is licensed under Florida Statutes Chapter 395, has met the standards to be a National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center, and has submitted documentation to the Board that those requirements have been met.
(2) The term “”direct supervision”” as used in Florida Statutes § 458.3135, shall require the physical presence of the supervising physician on the premises so that the supervising physician is immediately available when needed.
