- Department: means the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services of the state or its authorized representative. See Florida Statutes 581.011
All moneys received by the department under the provisions of this chapter shall be deposited in the Plant Industry Trust Fund and shall be used by the department to defray its expenses in carrying out the duties imposed on it by this chapter.
