§ 18-107. Construction. Unless otherwise specifically provided in this article, the duties of skiers, passengers, and ski area operators shall be governed by common law.
Terms Used In N.Y. General Obligations Law 18-107
- Common law: The legal system that originated in England and is now in use in the United States. It is based on judicial decisions rather than legislative action.
- Ski area: means all ski slopes, ski trails and passenger tramways administered as a single enterprise within this state. See N.Y. General Obligations Law 18-102
