- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
Subject to the provisions of s. 199.133(2), all notes, bonds, and other obligations for payment of money subject to the nonrecurring tax shall be valued at the principal amount of indebtedness evidenced by such obligation.
