Terms Used In Florida Statutes 298.15

  • Jurisdictional water management district: means the chapter 373 water management district or districts within which the lands encompassed by a water control district are located. See Florida Statutes 298.005
  • person: includes individuals, children, firms, associations, joint adventures, partnerships, estates, trusts, business trusts, syndicates, fiduciaries, corporations, and all other groups or combinations. See Florida Statutes 1.01
The board of supervisors of any district organized under this chapter shall cause to be kept a well-bound book, entitled “record of board of supervisors of   district,” in which shall be recorded minutes of all meetings, proceedings, certificates, bonds given by all employees and any and all corporate acts, which record shall at all times be open to the inspection of anyone interested, whether taxpayer or bondholder. Copies of the record of proceedings shall be filed with the jurisdictional water management district upon request. Any interested person, whether landowner or not, shall be permitted to inspect the record of proceedings.
