business agent: means any person, without regard to title, who shall, for a pecuniary or financial consideration, act or attempt to act for any labor organization in:
(a) The issuance of membership or authorization cards, work permits, or any other evidence of rights granted or claimed in, or by, a labor organization; or
(b) Soliciting or receiving from any employer any right or privilege for employees. Any labor organization may maintain any action or suit in its commonly used name and shall be subject to any suit or action in its commonly used name in the same manner and to the same extent as any corporation authorized to do business in this state. All process, pleadings and other papers in such action may be served on the president or other officer, business agent, manager or person in charge of the business of such labor organization. Judgment in such action may be enforced against the common property only of such labor organization.
