Terms Used In Florida Statutes 655.769

  • National Bank: A bank that is subject to the supervision of the Comptroller of the Currency. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency is a bureau of the U.S. Treasury Department. A national bank can be recognized because it must have "national" or "national association" in its name. Source: OCC
As used in ss. 655.77655.91, the term:

(1) “Check” includes a share draft of a credit union.
(2) “Deposit” includes a share of a credit union.
(3) “Depositor” includes a member of a credit union.
(4) “Institution” means any state or national bank, state or federal association, or state or federal credit union.
