Terms Used In 18 Guam Code Ann. § 36103

  • Mortgage: The written agreement pledging property to a creditor as collateral for a loan.
  • Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
A mortgage can be created, renewed or extended, only by writing, executed with the formalities required in the case of a grant of real property.
