  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.

  • Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.

CH. 2 COMPENSATORY RELIEF

18, 19 20 and 21 of this Code, is the amount which will compensate for all the detriment proximately caused thereby, whether it could have been anticipated or not.
