- Department: means the department of agriculture. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 150A-2
- Inspect: means to examine material to ascertain the presence or absence of quarantine pests and to otherwise determine compliance with the provisions of this chapter or any rule adopted under this chapter. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 150A-2
