Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 206E-225

  • Authority: means the Hawaii community development authority established by section 206E-3. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 206E-2
  • District: means the stadium development district established by this part. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 206E-222
  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
  • stadium authority: means the stadium authority established pursuant to section 109-1. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 206E-222

Notwithstanding sections authority; established” class=”unlinked-ref” datatype=”S” sessionyear=”2022″ statecd=”HI”>206E-3 and 206E-4.1, the stadium authority established pursuant to section 109-1 shall have sole jurisdiction regarding matters affecting the stadium development district; provided that the Hawaii community development authority; department of business, economic development, and tourism; and stadium authority shall enter into a memorandum of agreement regarding the implementation of responsibilities of the respective agencies.
