  • Adjournment sine die: The end of a legislative session "without day." These adjournments are used to indicate the final adjournment of an annual or the two-year session of legislature.

A commission shall be appointed on or before July 1, 1980, and a new commission shall be appointed on or before July 1 every five years thereafter; provided that if any vacancy occurs in the membership of a commission prior to the completion of its duties or dissolution, the governor shall appoint a replacement member in accordance with §§ 232E-1 and 26-34. The commission shall meet from time to time as necessary to execute its duties. The commission shall dissolve upon the adjournment sine die of the legislature to which it submits the evaluation and recommendations required by § 232E-3.
