Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 323F-6
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
- Corporation: means the body corporate and politic known as the Hawaii health systems corporation. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 323F-1
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Regional system board: means a community-based governing board of directors of a regional system of the corporation. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 323F-1
Any person denied access to any such government records shall have available the remedies specified in sections 92F-15 and appeal a denial of access” class=”unlinked-ref” datatype=”S” sessionyear=”2022″ statecd=”HI”>92F-15.5. Government records protected from disclosure by this section shall be subject to the interagency disclosure provisions of § 92F-19. Section 624-25.5 shall apply to this part notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this section.
