Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 460J-22

  • Board: means the pest control board. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 460J-1
  • Fumigation: means the use of any substance or substances that emit or liberate gases, fumes, or vapors which may be used for the destruction or control of insects, vermin, rodents, or other pests, which, in the opinion of the board, may be lethal, poisonous, noxious, or dangerous to human life. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 460J-1

A licensee shall maintain a log of each fumigation job performed by the licensee in this State. The log shall be in the form required by the regulations of the board and shall be preserved for a period of at least two years, during which time it shall be available at all times during business hours for inspection by the board and its authorized representatives.
