Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes > Chapter 560 > Article VIII - Effective Date and Repealer

  • county: includes the city and county of Honolulu. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 1-22
  • Decedent: A deceased person.
  • Director: means the director of commerce and consumer affairs. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 457B-2
  • Dower: A widow
  • Executor: A male person named in a will to carry out the decedent
